Songs of Heartbreak! Betrayal! Doomed Romance! Unrequited Love!

Brighton’s Jam Tarts are a 60 piece indie choral collective who perform unique and shimmering arrangements of songs by mostly indie and alternative artists, accompanied by strings, piano and trumpets.

For this show, Jam Tarts wear their hearts on their sleeves with wonderfully original re-imaginings of not-love-songs by artists including Buzzcocks, Joy Division, Soft Cell contrasting with Dolly Parton, Tim Buckley and, er, Half Man Half Biscuit. Loads of brand new numbers performed with multi-layered harmonies, 60 pairs of mighty lungs and six degrees of celebration. Selling out shows for over 20 years, Jam Tarts are known for moving audiences of even the hardest punk fans to tears, so get the hankies ready for a cathartic but strangely uplifting choral experience. Wahhhh!
