The Old Market is located between Brighton station (1 mile) and Hove station (1.3 miles). Southern Railway and Thameslink operate from both stations, with connections to London and other locations in the south.
To walk from Brighton Station – head straight out of the station and walk south on Queens Road. Turn right past the Jubilee Clock Tower on to Western Road and walk for approx. half a mile. Then turn left on to Upper Market Street, we’re in front of you.
To walk from Hove Station – head straight out of the station and walk south on Goldstone Villas. At the end of the road, turn left onto Blatchington Road. Alternatively – a taxi from either station takes around 5-10 minutes.

BY CAR OR TAXI
As we’re located in a residential area, parking in the surrounding roads is extremely limited, so we’d recommend getting in early!
For on-street parking, we’d recommend Kingsway Pay & Display, Hove Seafront, BN3 1HA. Charges apply 9am to 8pm, so for an evening show, you would only need to pay for one hour. Blue Badge holders can park here for free when displaying a Blue Badge. To walk from here – walk north onto Waterloo Street then take your third left (known as the Waterloo Arch, a small walkway that leads directly to TOM.)
For off-street parking, we’d recommend NCP Regency Square Car Park, 31 Regency Square, Brighton, BN1 2FG. Charges apply 24/7. There is no free Blue Badge parking here. There are six bays for electric charging vehicles. To walk from here – head north out of the car park and turn left towards Preston Street. Turn right and walk north. Turn left onto Western Road and walk for approx. 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Upper Market Street – we’re right in front of you. Taxis are able to drop customers off right outside the main entrance of the venue.

TOM’s Bar

TOM’s BAR

TOM’s Bar is an important part of what we do, and we don’t like to think of it as a ‘run-of-the-mill, pricey venue bar’. As such, our prices are similar to those of other local bars, our service is always personal, and unlike most, we promise to stay open after your show. TOM’s Bar is a place to enjoy, to discuss and to take in the atmosphere each event brings.

We’re proud to serve a great range of high quality refreshments. You’ll find some familiar products but also many from independent, local producers too. Our friendly team serve a range of wines, draft beers, spirits, ciders and snacks – the ideal accompaniments to your evening. We also have vegan and gluten free options, so there’s something for everyone. Not only that, but all of our cups, straws and other plastics are 100% biodegradable or reusable.

Oh, and TOM’s Friends get 10% off of all purchases from TOM’s Bar (just saying…)

See you soon,
Rob and the TOM’s Bar team
