AI is reshaping every corner of life, but is it a threat, an opportunity, or both? In this lively, insightful conversation, AI expert Dr Fola Yahaya sits down with Peter Kyle (MP of Hove & Portslade) and one of British politics' leading voices on technology, to cut through the hype and explain what AI actually is and where it's heading.
Yahaya, known for making complex ideas accessible and engaging, explores where AI genuinely excels, where it falls short, and how individuals, businesses and governments can prepare for the changes ahead. Kyle brings the rare perspective of a politician who has shaped AI policy at the highest levels of government, having previously served as Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology. Born in West Sussex and educated at the University of Sussex, he previously worked as an aid worker in Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Yahaya holds a PhD from LSE and has worked as an economist for the UN and a strategist for Morgan Stanley.
