The Gift is back at TOM this December!
Part feast, part performance, part choose-your-own-adventure.
As you enter this world of midwinter magic, the cast of brilliant cabaret artists, musicians, clowns and performers will help set the evening in motion… but where it goes is up to you. Every show is completely different, shaped by the people in the room.
Inspired by Berlin’s Social Muscle Club, America’s Burning Man and the intimate theatre of Colombia’s Theatre of the Senses, The Gift is a warm, generous and joyfully chaotic antidote to the usual festive season.
With a beautiful new menu courtesy of our friends at Circa, featuring hearty festive food to be shared between friends old and new.
Throw yourself in, or sit back and let the magic unfold around you. Either way, you’ll leave with a full belly, a warm heart, and a smile on your face.

NUT ALLERGIES: Our caterers and suppliers take great care to avoid cross-contamination, but as nuts are used in their kitchens, we can't guarantee any items are 100% nut-free. All items listed on the feasting menu are without nuts as an ingredient but made in a kitchen that also handles nuts. TOM’s Bar is nut-free.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: We have two set menus, one of which is vegan and gluten-free. Aside from this, we are unable to accommodate any additional dietary requirements. Please be aware of this before booking as tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable, and menu choices cannot be changed.

It’s a show that blends performance and food - the cast perform while you dine, followed by a collective adventure shaped by the wishes of everyone in the room.

You’ll be greeted by the hosts and guided through your introduction to the tribes for the evening in our Bar. After taking your seat in the main auditorium, we’ll feast together as the night then unfurls around you.

Warmth, laughter, music, and a touch of mischief!

You can leap in headfirst, or you can sit back and watch - everyone is welcome.

The feast is an integral part of the experience so we’re afraid we can’t offer tickets without food.

Yes it is! If you’re on our Access Register, companion tickets will cost £18 (to cover the cost of the food offer) - if you have any access queries or want to join our Access Register, please email our Access Lead Laura - boxoffice@theoldmarket.com

The Gift is for adventurers aged 16+ only, and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes, you can make a reservation for a group of 12 or more people. If you would like to make a reservation, please email boxoffice@theoldmarket.com or call 01273 201801 - please note that to make a reservation, we will require a non-refundable 20% deposit.

Yes, group bookings will begin and end the night together, and be sat together to eat. The game may require some movement, but that depends on what the room asks for!
Please note that tables can seat up to 12 people each. If you have a larger group, we will ensure you can all be seated nearby.
