A showcase of amazing new work, developed right here at TOM as part of our ImmersiveLAB programme earlier this summer.

INTRODUCING THE ARTISTS…

Meljoann is a multi-disciplinary artist from Ireland. Their self-formulated hyperjack sound has soulful vocals against spiky lyrics; lush synths against industrial noise.

She’s the house VJ for her Spirit of Gravity experimental music collective in Brighton, and founded their decentralised streaming space at gravitons. Their social media performance art piece, Mustics®, has been hoodwinking rubes with apolitical manifestation propaganda since 2020.

In the US, their tracks have been championed by Pitchfork, Beats Per Minute and KEXP radio. Since moving to Brighton, UK, she’s been supported by Deb Grant and Gemma Bradley at BBC6Music and BBC Introducing, Line of Best Fit, HMUK and the Arts Council of England. Irish endorsement includes Dan Hegarty, Cian Ó Cíobháin and Tara Stewart at RTÉ Radio, Irish Times, Nialler9, and Hot Press.

Brazilian-born and now based in Brighton, Marina Decourt is a singer, composer and music producer whose work weaves cinematic soundscapes with organic instrumentation, guitar, bass and layered vocals. With over 10 years of experience creating original and commissioned music - from albums to soundtracks for film and brand campaigns-  her work bridges the boundaries between songwriting, storytelling and sonic experimentation.

In 2025, she was selected for ImmersiveLAB at The Old Market, where she presents Zelo - an immersive performance blending live voice, cello, and electronic textures in collaboration with guest musician Talia Hunter (cello). Marina also leads Marilene Beats, an independent label dedicated to women and LGBTQIA+ artists.

Expect a live experience that challenges genre boundaries, connects across cultures and invites the audience into a sensorial journey that moves between intimacy and intensity.
