The Plough is a long-form ambient film and live music work by Julian Deane / Woodchester Piano Company.

Created during a period of recovery and creative reset, the piece follows a drifting journey through Sussex landscapes, ancient landmarks, roadside moments and open skies — part documentary, part meditation, part moving sketchbook.

Performed live to self-shot film, the soundtrack unfolds slowly across piano, guitar, synths and and immersive ambient textures, allowing the room itself to become part of the experience. Audiences are invited to sit, lie down, wander, reflect or simply spend time inside the work.

Somewhere between concert, cinema and installation, The Plough explores slowness, landscape and attention — offering temporary pause from the pace and noise of everyday life.
