At Halloween, the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest. Dedicated to death's past, present and future, OBLIVION is a night of films, live art, writers and live music...

OBLIVION: Mortality. Death. With:

David Bramwell: known for writing, salon-hosting, making music and radio programmes for the BBC. Books include The Haunted Moustache, The Cult of Water, Outlandish and The Singalong-A-Wicker-Man Scrapbook. David will be leading the audience into a Hellmouth on this evening.

Sapphire Goss: an artist whose work grows, lives and decays beyond the screen, using obsolete processes, materials - analogue film, antique glass, paper, liquid lenses, organic matter, and objects based on the Victorian idea to capture the last image seen before death. Her favourite fact: 'Nitrate film decays at the same rate as flesh'.

Jak Hutchcraft: holds events in Brighton - 'Sound Affects', the talks about music, sound, and subcultures. He's written about music, esoteric religions, psychology, science, and LGBTQIA issues for The Face, Kerrang, The Guardian, The Independent, Vice, and made a documentary about Fatboy Slim for Sky TV. He'll be unravelling dying and NDE's.

Mike Sefton: electronic music composer and filmmaker. His latest project is Twitching Dreamers, an 18-track album of music set at the end of this century, featuring the voices of the living, the dead... and those without a body. Playing live, with films and voices from 70 years hence.

Plus four Deathly films from Exploding Cinema!
