It’s poetry… In The Box… It’s POETRY BOX!

We held our first PB event earlier this year, and you lot loved it. So we’re back for a second round! Pull up a beanbag or chair, kick back and listen to some wonderful words whilst surrounded by 360º of visuals.

INTRODUCING THE ARTISTS…

Bradley Taylor

Bradley Taylor is an award-winning poet born and based in Birmingham. In 2024, he won the Roundhouse Poetry Slam, the night of which was the biggest poetry slam in history. In 2025, he released his debut collection, You Missed The Best Part, before embarking on a nationwide tour.

Bradley has appeared at the Hay Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival, The Inspirational Youth Awards, on BBC News and on BBC Radio 6 Music as part of Craig Charles' Class of 2024, in which Craig Charles described him as "A brand new voice and a fresh perspective on the art of poetry and performance".

Bradley’s work has appeared in Gutter Magazine, Shooter, Strix and across Birmingham train stations as part of Birmingham Hippodrome’s collaboration with photographer Paul Stringer’s project The City That Spoke To Me. He also co-hosts The Big Gay Poetry Night alongside M. L. Walsh.

He writes for, and about, people.

Jenny Foulds

Jenny Foulds (she/her) is a London-based writer, poet and actor from Scotland. She’s a former Scottish Slam Champion and World Slam Championship finalist, as well as being host and curator of Spoken Word nights Rebel Soapbox and Home Poetry.

Jenny has featured at nights across the UK, including Hammer & Tongue, Loud Poets, Tongue Fu,  Stanza Poetry Festival and Glastonbury.

She will be touring her debut show, Life Learnings of a Nonsensical Human, in spring 2026.

As an actor, she was a series regular in Two Thousand Acres of Sky (BBC) and appeared in various TV and film roles, including Rebus, Mandancin’, Taggart and The Debt Collector.

She founded the street art blog Happy Graffiti, which later became a book published by Octopus Books (a Hachette imprint).

Ryan Burle

Ryan Burle is a Chichester-based poet and performer whose work blends sharp humour with raw honesty, capturing the chaos, calm, and quiet beauty of being human. Co-founder and host of the Tongue Tied Poetry Slam, he’s also brought words to the water by producing Poets on the Canal with Chichester Fringe, and his poetry has featured on BBC Radio across the South.

His street project, Poems for Strangers, sees him with a vintage 1960s typewriter, creating poems on the spot for anyone who asks. In 2024, he released his debut collection Write, Flight or Freeze, a heartfelt exploration of the fragility and wonder of life.
