INTRODUCING THE LINE-UP…

Isabella Dorta

Isabella Dorta is a poet and author living in Somerset, England, with her three cats and her many, many houseplants. Isabella published her first collection, how sunflowers bloom under moonlight on Valentines Day 2022, after a very silly man broke her very heavy heart. She is proudly published by Penguin RandomHouse’s non-fiction division, Ebury (UK) and Andrew’s McMeel (US).

Known for reading her poetry aloud on social media, she posted her first poem online in May 2021 and has carefully built a loving community of followers. She has since gone on to publish five more poetry collections. Isabella has also hosted three sold-out poetry tours, and performed/held panels at Henley Lit Fest and Cheltenham Lit Fest, which, in her words, goes to show ‘that really, all the best things come out of spite.’

Jenny Foulds

Jenny Foulds (she/her) is a London based writer, poet and actor from Scotland. She’s a former Scottish Slam Champion and World Slam Championship finalist, as well as being host and curator of Spoken Word nights Rebel Soapbox and Home Poetry.

Jenny has featured at nights across the UK including Hammer & Tongue, Tongue Fu,  Stanza Poetry festival, Edinburgh Fringe and Glastonbury Festival. She will be touring her debut show Life Learnings of a Nonsensical Human in Spring 2026. As an actor she was a series regular in Two Thousand Acres of Sky (BBC) and appeared in various TV and film roles including Rebus, Mandancin’, Taggart and The Debt Collector. She founded the street art blog Happy Graffiti, which later became a book published by Octopus Books (a Hachette imprint).
